The Wind Cries Mary

After all the Jacks
Are in t' the boxes
And the Clowns
Have all gone to bed
You can hear Happiness
Staggerin' on downstream
Footprints dressed in red
And the Wind
Whispers Mary.

A broom is drearily sweeping
Up the broken pieces
Of yesterday's life
Somewhere a Queen is Weeping
Somewhere a King has no Wife
And The Wind
It Cries
Mary!

The traffic lights they
Turn on Blue tomorrow
And shine an emptiness
Down on my bed
The tiny island
Sinks downstream
'Cause the life it lived
Is dead!
And The Wind Screams Mary!

Will the wind ever remember
The names it has blown
In the Past
And with it's crutch
This Old Age
And it's wisdom
It whispers No
This will be the Last
And the wind Cries
MARY!

All so called 'consensual crime' is an Abomination to The Lord.

How many more dead men must scream out from their graves amidst the white-noise of Earthly Life before someone Wakes up to this!

John Lennon
Jimi Hendrix
Janis Joplin
Brian Jones
John Entwistle
George Harrison

And so so many more, too numerous to even mention.

All these men were 'consesual criminals' !!!

And Still THE WIND SCREAMS MARY!

There can be no Peace on Earth or even anywhere in The Universe whilst this disharmonising anomoly exists.

They know not what they DO.

FLiP-FLOP,

Led The Warrior.

You know, "Primitive" when used as a descriptor has nothing to do with age, or with history, recorded or otherwise, it is entirely 'Attitude', that's all.

Now originally the idea for this thread and another with similar title came from a brilliant piece of work by Mick Jagger when he took a holiday from the Rolling Stones and teamed up with various other fellow primitives to make the "Primitive Cool" album.

So of course, I am going to put Mick's words in here in due course, but tonight I just gotta say, feel free to ignore this thread and not contribute in any way if you wish, that would be fine with me, I can take it everywhere just on my own.

But tonight that Wind is still screaming, and you know why don't you all.

Nobody Home

I got a little black book with my poems in
Got a bag with a toothbrush and a comb in
When I'm a good dog they sometimes throw me a bone in
I got elastic bands keeping my shoes on
Got those swollen hand blues

I got thirteen channels of shit
On my TV to choose from
I got electric light
And I got second sight
Got amazing powers of observation

And that is how I know
When I try to get through
On the telephone to you
There'll be nobody home

I got the obligatory Hendrix perm
And the inevitable pinhole burns
All down the front of my favourite satin shirt
I got nicotine stains on my fingers
I got a silver spoon on a chain
Got a grand-piano to prop up my mortal remains

I got wild staring eyes
And I got a strong urge to fly
But I got nowhere to fly to
(Fly to fly to fly to fly to
fly to fly to fly to fly to )

Ooooo ooh Babe
When I pick up the phone
There's still nobody home

I got a pair of Gohills boots
And I got faded on roots

Pink Floyd - from "The Wall" album /movie

Primitive Cool

A place far in the future
And faces from the past
And children reading history books
Their faces light and laugh
It all seems so primitive
How did you survive?
It all seemed so different then
How did you stay alive?

Did you walk cool in the 'fifties daddy?
Was it all black and white?
And did you play jazz all night?
Was it really so wonderful?
Did you walk cool in the 'fifties daddy?
And did you dress like James Dean?
Did you wear dungarees?
Did you dance to the Rhumba?

Was it all just crazy fashion?
I said oh yeah
Did you live life with a passion?
I said oh yeah

Does it all have some strange meaning?
Can it change my life today?
Or is it all so much flotsam and jetsam?
Tell me right away

And did you walk cool in the 'sixties daddy?
Did you fight in the war?
Or did you chase all the whores
On the rock and roll rumble?
And did you walk cool in the 'sixties daddy?
And did you fight in the war?
Did you break all the laws
That were ready to crumble?

Was it all just crazy fashion?
I said oh yes
Did you live life with a passion?
I said oh Yeah

Does it have some inner meaning?
Can it change my life today?
Or is it all so much flotsam and jetsam?
Tell me right away

Well I think you've got it figured
Go check it out yourself
'Cause I've had it playing teacher for today

Did you walk cool, primitive cool?
Did you know Doctor King?
Was he ever so humble?
Did you walk cool, primitive cool?
And did you break all the laws
That were ready to crumble?

(Get the Picture! - Mmm mmm)

A place far in the future
And faces from the past
And children reading history books
Their faces light and laugh
It all seems so primitive
How did you survive?
It all seemed so different then
How did you stay alive?

Alive a Li i i ive Alive.

Okay, that was the title track of course, from Mick's fab album.

What do you think he meant by "And did you fight in the war"?

Is he talking about Vietnam?

Think again.. this is an Englishman speaking...

I'll use the Moody Blues to give you the answer.

"Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door
It's 'cause the truth is hard to swallow
That's what the 'War of Love' is for"

Yes I fought in the War, still do, always will, until it's won.

"If you wanna be in my gang
STAND UP WITH ME
We'll start some Evolution
And make the streets FREE!"

Free Life in Peace-Free Love only Please,

David.

I'll do this for the Children, past present and future...

Including those who have grown-up bodies.

"To Our Children's Children's Children"

I wonder you know, out of the contemporary crop of people, just who really does listen to music? I know some of my friends do, although unfortunately not all of them.

Present day people use the word "fantastic" a lot, although I consider it most unfortunate, particularly at this time, that they have no clue about the real meaning of the word, and much less the true power of a word.

If you call a thing something it is not, then you disempower yourself completely.

Fantastic means 'not real' understand? It does not mean groovy, 'wicked', great, lovely, or anything else, it simply means, not real.

Now when you listen to music remember to understand what the artist means by what s-he is singing, lest you place your own meanings on words and names, missing The Message entirely, and don't rely just on the words alone, far too many of you have no awareness beyond words.. Mentation by word is familiar to you, but you know nothing of mentation by form and deed.

When you listen to a song, don't be there.

Lose yourself in it completely - Be The Music!

And then you will know why THE WIND SCREAMS MARY.

"I wake up to the sound of music
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it Be, Let it Be"

(Paul McCartney)

Now, if you don't wish to get Burned, never mess with My Magic.

David.

Wish You Were Here

So o o
So you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell
Blue skies from pain
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail
A smile from a veil
Do you think you can tell?

Did they get you to trade
Your Heroes for ghosts
Hot ashes for trees
Hot air for a cool breeze
Cold comfort for change
Did you exchange
A walk on part in The War
For a lead roll in a cage?

Oh! How I Wish You Were Here!
We were just two lost souls
Swimmin' in a fish-bowl
Year after year
Runnin' over the same old ground
What had we found
The same old fears...
Wish you were Here

Bound For Glory

Life's tough!
So What?
I'm Alive!

I've been down
Seen hard time
But I survived

You know I learned my lessons
At the School-of-Hard-Knocks

And I was born to live it
Can't hold me down
Can't hold me back
'Cause I'm Bound For Glory
Oh we're Bound For Glory!

A heartfelt victory
Is a warriors destiny
Bound For Glory
Oh we're Bound For Glory!

I'll Fight
And I'll Win
'Cause I'm Strong
(I'm breakin' the chains)
Yay!
I stand tall
My head's high
Now I belong
(it's easin' the pain)

You know I learned my lessons
And the pain made me strong
And I know my strength is growing
I know what's right
I know what's wrong

Bound For Glory
Oh we're Bound For Glory!
A heartfelt victory
Is a warriors destiny

Bound For Glory
Yes we're Bound For Glory!

Oh you can't hold back the tide when it starts to turn!
No you can't go back - you can't go back
It's a lesson to learn

(Repeat and fade previous verse and choruses ad-lib)

Did you exchange a walk on part in The War for a lead role in a Cage?

I hope not...

And my friends have lost their way
We'll be over soon they said
Now they've lost themselves instead!"

Those of you who think you know me, I do not know you, you are not my friends, take your value-judgements and your neuroses elsewhere, you have already trespassed dangerously close to becoming my Anathema.

Risk not the wrath of my Father also, nor his execrations, for I am the son of my Father.

And those of you who support the so called 'consensual crimes' "laws", and those among you who invent such a novelty; Beware! You are already Anathema to me and you offend Heaven moreover.

"I've been down the bottom
Of a whirlpool of lies
I ain't lookin' for nothin'
In anyone's eyes...

I don't even hear
The murmer of a prayer
It's not dark yet
But it's getting there"

(Bob Dylan)

"One must learn how to pray, just as one must learn everything else. Whoever knows how to pray and is able to concentrate in the proper way, his prayer can give results. The prayer of a subjective man, that is, of man number one, number two, and number three, can give only subjective results, namely self-consolation, self-suggestion, self-hypnosis. It cannot give objective results."

G.I. Gurdjieff

Mmm...

If you want to make Prayer you ought to approach The Divinity in a state of Ecstasy, that's the first thing to remember.. the other thing that no 'man' understands, is that prayer is not a monologue it's a conversation, if you don't hear a response from Above you have not made prayer.

Have a nice Sabbath.

David.
